Excursions

Excursion: Enjoy a fabulous day out in Battle - the beautiful town is built around the abbey which was erected on the site of the battle of 1066. Afterwards, we visit the intriguing Lewes - its medieval streets, old English churches and tiny twittens (a Sussex word for alleyway) allows visitors to glimpse into the true essence of bygone Lewes.

Excursion: Brighton - Famous for its graceful Regency buildings including the exotic iron-domed Royal Pavilion. The electric railway is the oldest electric seafront railway in Britain - explore the enticing series of narrow streets, The Lanes, have many delightful small shops.

Rye & Hastings - First stop Rye, a medieval citadel huddled against invaders and the sea - Home to a myriad of art curiosites and cosy pubs. Explore the nooks and crannies as you potter around the cobbled streets full of indelpendant shops, galleries and cafes,  Afterwards ontothe bustling East Sussex town of Hastings.
