A traditional Victorian seaside town - but with a contemporary twist. It combines beautiful beaches, family attractions and the UK's oldest iron pier with fantastic shopping and a superb choice of restaurants, along with three theatres, a museum and an art gallery, there’s plenty to keep you and the family entertained.

 For some amusement park fun, stop by Pleasureland. Take a ride on a roller coaster or see the sights as you ride the train around the park. In all seasons, you can also enjoy the water at Splash World, an indoor water park with colorful slides.    

In Southport itself, one of the best places to go is Lord Street, a tree-lined Victorian boulevard home to shops, restaurants and quaint tearooms, as well as the grand Wayfarers Arcade with its glass and iron-domed roof.
